Woodforest has a New Lifestyle Director

Woodforest, the fastest-growing master-planned community in Montgomery County, has hired Tori Whelan as its new lifestyle director. Whelan will help residents make the most out of life by planning community activities and events at Woodforest to encourage residents to spend time with family and get to know their neighbors better.

All residents are invited to attend events and activities such as the annual “Get Plugged In” event, where residents have the opportunity to meet other residents and join community clubs of neighbors with similar interests such as groups like “Wine Down,” Morning Fitness, Moms in the Forest, the Woodforest Running Club, Bunco, Photography in the Forest and more.

A native of Michigan, Whelan most recently served as a conference center events director for a facility in her home state. She has planned an array of public events, including hosting parties for NASCAR sponsors and organizing galas for Central Michigan University.
