A new collection of Darling Homes is coming to Conroe at Stillwater, a community that offers gracious, Southern-style living in a desirable Houston suburb.
Our new Darling Homes model exudes elegance with a color palette that starts with a beautiful, painted-brick exterior that gives the home real Southern charm.
A Southern-style Interior
Creating a traditional Lowcountry design that reflects the Darling Homes’ aesthetic was our goal for this home. We achieved the look by using cream tones for the walls and furniture, paired with found and reclaimed objects. The result is a home that is elegant but feels like you can make yourself at home.
An Elegant Entry
The entry of this home is as breathtaking as it is welcoming, with a grand staircase a sitting area that opens into the dining room and updated design elements that reflect a more modern aesthetic
Timeless Kitchen Style
We used a smaller subway tile in a beveled cream and repeated the shades of cream in the cabinets and accessories. Our 2016 Darling Homes Color of the Year are shades of cream and white. When used in the kitchen it creates a look that won’t become dated. This Darling Homes kitchen is timeless.
The heart of the home is the kitchen. In many of our new plans, hearth rooms are standard, affording a distinct focal point in this intimate gathering space for casual conversation, reading and dining. This thoughtful design element declutters the family room and provides for a singular focal point for the TV in the main part of the home.
A Study in Style
A walk down the hall to the master suite brings a pleasant surprise with a convenient and secluded study. Darling Homes are created for a lifetime of memories with family and friends, and a place to live life to its fullest. With this floorplan, the study is tucked away from the social areas of the home for convenience, this offers a quiet and private place to work.
Timeless Tradition
Stained beams, a patterned carpet and painted shiplap-layered walls create the backdrop for a room layered in tradition. Add a cream-tufted headboard, skirted night stands and a candelabra chandelier for the complete effect, a master bedroom that’s an ideal retreat.
